Recommended Guidelines for Hydrogen Therapy

The science on hydrogen therapy is still emerging. We recommend that you do you read up and study about hydrogen therapy.  The Molecular Hydrogen Institute offers online courses that we highly recommend. To help you get started...based on published studies and our experience using this therapy in our private practice, we have developed the following  guidelines:

Current BIOREZ Best Use Practices:
For routine maintenance and acute distortions, this therapy can be used as a general measure by using each of the accessories separately or combined. If you are not targeting a particular area, it is best to start with inhalation therapy.
Once comfortable with the nasal cannula, you can try the other accessories individually or together.

Guidelines for using the nasal cannula alone or combined with the goggles and/or ear cannula.
1. Children - 600ml/min - 30 min/day - if using every day, take two two-day breaks for every 5 days
2. Adults - 1800ml/min - 30min - 2 hours/day  - if using every day, take two two-day breaks for every 5 days
3. Major illnesses - 4 to 5 hours/day every day at flow rates given above
Note: To use multiple accessories, remove the flexible plastic cap on the nasal cannula's moisture separator and connect the additional accessory.

Goggles and/or Ears: These guidelines are similar to those above, except that the flow rate should be reduced to 1200ml/min or lower.  It is possible to use the nasal cannula, the goggles and the ear cannula together.  To do so, use the provided t-connectors for the goggles and move the tubing around.
