When the Rifetech plasma unit's main power is turned on (at the back of the unit), the plasma tube should light up. If it does not, shut down the computer and check for loose cable connections in the back of the generator. Ensure that they are fully pushed in. Power on the unit and check again. If the tube still fails to illuminate, shut down the computer, disconnect the power cord, wait about ten minutes, and try again.
The unit is equipped with a safety mechanism to protect it. If you recently moved the unit, wait about ten minutes and try again. If vibration is detected, the safety mode is enabled and can last for approximately ten minutes.
